"Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD." -Psalm 150:6
Music Reading Confined Singers! :)
In the midst of this unprecedented time and we find ourselves missing our choir family, I hope you'll find comfort in these pieces. I often enjoy reading along with new music when I am searching for possible anthems for our choir. Though many of these will not be programmed for our choir, you may still find comfort in hearing them or singing along with them (as I often do.) Hopefully it will help fill the void until we meet again!

Unexpected Placesarr. Heather Sorensen (2019)
This tender ballad is filled with hopeful, truthful images of God's presence along the journey of life. Scored for SATB voices, piano, and optional violin and cello, the music is a stunning example of a "less is more" approach, moving with delicate care to match the fragile nature of the text. |

This joyful arrangement of a well-known hymn will be a favorite of your choir and congregation alike. A flowing and romantic second verse contrasts with lively up-tempo sections. Very nicely done! |

This beautiful setting of George Matheson's familiar hymn text functions perfectly in both sacred or secular settings. Here, O Love is given a fresh new melody with equally refreshing and gorgeous harmonies. You will not want to miss this for use as a sacred meditation in a worship service or in a concert setting as a tribute to the glory of love itself. Now available in treble and tenor-bass voicings. Simply stunning! |

To the Lamb on the ThroneDan Forrest (2019)
"Worthy the Lamb!" These three words of praise are masterfully woven throughout this new setting of Charles Wesley's text Ye Servants of God. In To the Lamb on the Throne, composer Dan Forrest takes a traditional hymn text and elevates it to an astonishing, worshipful offering for the King of Kings! Scored for SATB choir, organ, and optional brass quintet and timpani, there's also an opportunity for the congregation to join on the final verse. You'll want to return to this anthem time and again.
